Review: Primark Highlighters

Hey everyone so I'm back again with a blog post. So over the past few months I have purchased a few highlighters from Primark. Two of them are liquid highlighters, one is a powder highlighter and another is a powder but it is in a palette with blusher.

This time last year I never would've even considered buying makeup from Primark I always believed the more expensive the makeup is the better the quality right?
I'd been using a NYX highlighter which was £22 and (I'm pretty sure it was Smashbox?) a highlighter my Mum gave me as she didn't want it but I've completely forgotten the brand which was £30. In all honestly these highlighters looked popping when I first applied them but after 2-3 hours they were gone completely even with primer, translucent powder and setting spray.

Back in September I first got the Strobing Cream Highlighter in a Golden colour from Primark which was £2 and it was amazing! You can mix it with your foundation to give you and extra glow or just use as a highlighter and it's good for warmer more golden skin tones. It doesn't last all day admittedly but it lasts about 6 hours which is a lot better than my high end stuff. Plus you only need the tiniest amount for a glow.

Back in November I got the Unicorn Powder Highlight which was £3 and a blush palette which included a rose gold highlighter for £5. Admittedly I prefer the Strobing Cream. These highlighters are much better if you're after a more subtle look but you do need quite a lot of product if you want a good highlight. These last for about 6-8 hours too.

Then last week I got another Strobing Cream Highlighter. Instead of getting the gold again I decided
to try something different and got a baby pink. It's highlight is a lot more intense on my skin tone as I'm quite olive skinned and it's definitely more something for the paler girls. However I love it. You don't need a lot and it really makes you glow amazing. However it's very obvious it's not natural but like I said I have got more tan skin but would 10/10 recommend for my pale guys and girls out there.

All in all I would rate the Strobing Creams both 8/10 and the powders a 7/10. But it's definitely worth the price. Thank you for reading and I will be updating on Wednesday with another blog post.
